April 2024 – Kiley Melvin
Why did you choose to dual enroll at NFC? I want to become a veterinarian, which requires 8 years of schooling. Because of this, I wanted to get a jump start on my core classes.
Which class have you enjoyed the most at NFC? I thoroughly enjoyed American History 2 with Professor Jason Welch.
How is NFC helping you reach your goals? They are allowing me to complete my core classes with money staying in my pocket, before transferring to university.
What are your goals after High School? I will attend NFC one more year to complete my AA degree, and then transfer to university to become a veterinarian
Who at NFC has inspired you the most? Guenter Maresch, my Algebra 1 teacher. I actually met him before that class on an NFC tour and really felt inspired to take one of his science classes. While I have yet to do so, I really enjoyed him as a math teacher.
